D e s i g n - J o u r n e y - O f - C h e t a n

It was October 17. The morning started with Kiran  forgetting his belt for his loose pants, I burnt my fingers with burner, had lunch with JK sir :D  A memorable day, it was! Burnt hand gave the opportunity to use my left hand for sketching that day!

Once we were supposed to design a futuristic mobility solution (conceptual level) whose parts were to be cut with laser cutting and connected later. We got engaged in our sketching and in the process, I made this sketch, to which Arun replied, "Dude! Go for some easy model. It has to be made in pieces." "Thanks for reminding, man. I had forgotten that we have to make a model as well. :p " I said. And we started laughing...I wrote his suggestion as a reminder :)

The below sketch is not from my sketchbook. It's actually the back side of the evaluation sheet of my friends for Minors :p It was the peer evaluation :) Yeah! I sketch wherever I get space, sometimes, it's just an involuntarily action... Jyoti sir always say that he'd term his teaching successful, if all of us become entrepreneurs. He wants us to be 'Job-creators' not 'Job seekers'! Such an inspiring person he is! But this time, he said a little different, read it here...

There are times when I speak to my sketches...There are times when I get tired of doing things, I like the most...

This happened during one of the classes when I was done trying out the details for my interior sketch. Abhijith was watching me getting frustrated with the pen. I told him, "I am not able to do the details here, man!" And I wrote 'this' on the sketch. To which, the humble Abhijith replied, "Ha? Chethan! Don't say that! You can do it!" Abhijith is one of the sweetest friends at IITD!
